Adaptation Case Studies

  Next (Toronto's Heat-Health Alert System)

The case studies presented here demonstrate how Canadian communities are addressing climate change adaptation. These examples illustrate a range of climate change impacts and possible adaptations, extracted from municipalities of varying sizes, from across Canada.

While each case study focuses on a particular jurisdiction, they also demonstrate how other municipalities can assess their own vulnerabilities, and develop and integrate their own adaptation strategies.
